If you haven't heard of Argus, now is your chance to read his incredible life story as it's happening.

This blog has reduced me to tears of sympathy, sadness and joy. If you don't read it, you'll be missing out.

Now for the art explanation.
I'd had art block for about a week, needing some inspiration I turned the one of the most inspiring things I've read, and reread it in one night.
I've wanted to draw Argus since I started reading the blog but didn't really want to because I know I'm awful at light grays.
I gave it a shot anyway, and well, this is the result.
I hope I don't disappoint too much. >_<

Edit-
Updated with a slightly updated version (I doubt anyone could point out the differences but me =P), added watermark as I removed the 'Argus' which ruined the softness of the picture. :3
I had to resize, which I think points out a lot more of the flaws, ugh.
AND Enabled as a print.. Unless I've buggered something up. xD

Hello Nanakorobi!

I stumbled across your beautiful painting of Argus tonight. This is Katie, Argus' foster mom and the author of the "Saving Argus" blog.

Simply put, I am stunned by your beautiful work. You are an incredibly talented artist, and you have captured Argus perfectly. I absolutely love this piece (and I'm an art collector!). I would like to purchase a print from you (how do I do this?) and was also wondering if you would let me write about you and your painting of Argus in his blog?

Please send me an email at watermarkfarm1@yahoo.com and let me know what you think.

Keep up the great work. You have tremendous talent! I am so excited to have found you!

Regards,
Katie Moore
OH, you did a wonderful job capturing Argus. You are a very talented artist. Don't worry about the flaws, that is what makes art so unique. Do you ever do commissioned works?

If you liked Argus' blog you should read this one also. [link]

If you do commissioned work please send me an email at southernoakstables@comcast.net
I read about poor argus in Horsewyse magazine...

Thank you for buying! Enjoy. :D
Hi,

This is Katie, Argus' owner. Would you email me at watermarkfarm1@yahoo.com? I'd like to talk to you about possibly using your artwork in some materials for the organization that sponsored Argus' rescue and rehab.

Thanks,
Katie Moore

Hey. I saw this on Change's website! you did a great job. I'm going to start working with that organization as a volunteer. It's amazing to see organizations getting support from the internet community like this. Thank you!
